Sick to my stomach with falling for you, can’t tell if the air is hot or cold around me, it’s been so long, so long since I saw you, my eyes have dried up and my lids fused skin to skin.
It’s like water, it’s like earth, it’s a smooth bubble around me protecting me and sucking the life out of me simultaneously. Damn your cool eyes, that hold me trapped even when you’re miles away.
In this place I speak words that aren’t mine, my body moves like a puppet – jerking through the day uncomfortably, without knowing where it’s going next.
The furious intensity of dream longing drips off everything I touch. Come home. Come home or I’ll smash it all to pieces.
